Teaching

 

Ari teaches songwriting, voice, piano and jazz improvisation. She is an assistant professor at Wheaton College in Jazz Voice, and has taught at Berklee College of Music.

  • Works with everyone from children to professional recording artists.

  • Specializes in teaching self-accompanying Singer-Songwriters, vocal improvisation, songwriting and voice technique (she has taken all 3 levels of Somatic Voicework™ in addition to her B.M. and M.M.)

 

Performing

 

She regularly performs on the East Coast and in Scandinavia as a sideman and band leader, but she also releases music and performs regularly with group Visen. Her most notable performances have been at the 2022 Copenhagen Jazz Festival and at Jordan Hall in Boston.
